The Association of Outdoor Recreation and Education, 1100 N. Main Street, Suite 108, Ann Arbor, MI 48104 ("Sponsor"). The following are the official rules ("Official Rules") for participation in the AORE Campus Challenge ("Contest").
The AORE Campus Challenge is a competition between colleges to determine which school can get the most people outdoors and active. The Contest also has sweepstakes component in which prizes will be awarded (the Contest and sweepstakes are collectively referred to as the "Promotion"). Through an open registration process, colleges and universities, identified on the Association of Outdoor Recreation and Education's website at aorecampuschallenge.org were selected to participate (each a "School"). The National Outdoor Champion title will be awarded to the School, in each division, that gets the most people to (1) participate in unique outdoor activities during the 4-week Contest Period (defined below), and (2) verify those unique activities by uploading photos that includes the participant to aorecampuschallenge.org. In addition to the National Outdoor Champion, the individual who participates in and documents the most unique outdoor activities during the Contest Period will be named Outsider of the Year in each division.
To be eligible to participate in the Promotion (in each case a "Participant"), you must be (1) a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States (including District of Columbia); (2) at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry; and (3) affiliated in any way with one of the schools that are part of the Contest. Children (aged under 18) must have the consent of a parent/carer or their legal guardian aged over 18 in order to participate. Winners must prove their age before they receive their prize. The organizer may ask any winner aged under 18 to present proof of consent from parents/carers, stating that they consent to their child taking part in the competition and to the award of the prize by the organizer. The organizer reserves the right to select another winner if the original winner cannot present sufficient proof of consent. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of the Association of Outdoor Recreation and Education, Outdoor Industry Association or agencies associated with Campus Challenge administration are not eligible to participate in the Promotion. The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Participation constitutes Participant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor's decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
